The Leaning Bar, installed primarily at bus stops, complements Benches by providing another opportunity for transit riders to rest as they wait for the bus. Leaning can be especially appealing to people for whom sitting requires greater effort.

  • A sidewalk must be at least 12 feet wide to maintain a clear path of at least 8 feet
  • Typically sited in line with other furnishings located at a bus stop, such as a Bus Shelter or Real Time Passenger Information
